We are seeking versatile and experienced Equipment Operators, Pipelayers, and Laborers for our growing Landfill team. The Operators/Pipelayers/Laborers will primarily work on project sites in the Eastern PA market and will be provided with opportunities for advancement. A successful candidate should possess a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and ability to work in a crew-based environment. Kinsley does offer a training program for entry-level candidates with interest in heavy equipment operation and construction.



  • Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures
  • Excavation and hauling, prep for liners, working over liner systems and assist in landfill gas related work
  • Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of all aspects of construction
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required


  • Installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, leachate collection systems and gas collection systems
  • Use fusion machines, fuse and weld HDPE pipe
  • Ensure subgrade and pipe are on grade and on line
  • Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
  • Job site hazard recognition
  • Performs other relevant duties and responsibilities as required


  • Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
  • Use various hand and power tools
  • Operate roller as needed
  • Assist with removal of fine grade stones along curb lines and sidewalks
  • Take and understand instructions from crew leaders
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures


  • Experience and knowledge of landfill gas is preferred Previous equipment operation experienced is preferred but not required
  • Maintain all tools required for Equipment Operators
  • Previous experience working around heavy equipment
  • Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams and specifications is preferred
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
  • Ability to complete the physical aspects of the job (lifting, bending, carrying etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
