Description

Kinsley is currently seeking full-time Industrial Electricians at all levels. Positions include foreman, journeymen, and skilled laborers.  Location of work will primarily take place in typical industrial and manufacturing environments. Type of work includes, but not limited to moving of machinery, complete facility relocations, plant maintenance and renovations, dust collection systems and water/wastewater treatment system upgrades. Employees will be based out of Kinsley’s Field Operations office, located in York, PA but travel in the mid-Atlantic region for projects will be required. Kinsley will provide hotels and transportation for this required work-related travel. We pay the highest per diem rate in our market for meals and expenses.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Specific accountabilities include evaluating manufacturing processes to improve product quality, process efficiencies and machine reliability, failure analyses, developing new control systems and modifying existing systems and participating in project activities in the areas of controls/electrical design and equipment integration
  • Perform/Assist with rough-ins, pipe bending, pulling wire and electrical terminations
  • Perform/Assist with installing or relocating transformers and electrical switchgear/equipment
  • Perform/Assist with maintenance and repair of existing electrical systems
  • Perform/Assist with low voltage wiring as needed
  • Ensure all electrical installations conform to the NEC
  • Always work in a safe manner using provided PPE and follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Participate in implementing and safety methods

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED is required. Secondary education is appreciated and will be considered when determining pay scale
  • 3-5 years of experience is preferred, not required
  • Comprehension of construction drawings is required
  • Current Driver’s License is required
  • Must be familiar with or willing to learn OSHA and MSHA safety regulations
  • Proficiency in the National Electrical Code/NEC and NFPA 70E standards
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power and controls
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and diagnostics on various systems is preferred, but not required
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills are required
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude for daily customer interaction
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently as needed with little to no supervision
  • Willingness to multitask in a high-speed environment
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 75 pounds
  • Working at heights
  • Must be willing to learn and/or assist mechanical trades
  • Must be willing to work some weekends as needed
