We are seeking a driven Contract Administrator to join our in-house legal department. Candidate will be responsible for assisting the in-house attorneys with various legal activities involving contract, business and employment issues. A successful candidate should possess excellent computer and reasoning skills, effective communication skills and a willingness to learn. Ideally, the candidate would possess knowledge and experience in the construction industry or related industry such as architecture or engineering.


  • Prepare, develop and revise contracts
  • Play a key role in future initiatives such as updating/maintaining corporate contract management system
  • Review project procurement documents and assist with legal review
  • Assist with the development of training and/or presentations on contract law, employment law, and other construction related legal issues
  • Assist in contract negotiations with owner and subcontractors
  • Prepare and maintain corporate records and documents
  • Monitor and assist with business licensing and registration
  • Assist with debt collection and enforcement activities, including but not limited to demands, claims, notices and litigation


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a construction-related industry
  • Specific experience and/or demonstrated interest in construction
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, meet deadlines and manage a large volume of contracts and associated issues
  • Familiarity with use of contract management software a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrated capability in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts
  • Willingness to do extensive reading and writing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Practical and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and PDF editing programs
  • Moderate to high understanding of contract language and terminology
  • Must be able to spend significant amounts of time in seated position working in front of a computer
